Fulfilling corporate social responsibility (CSR) has increasingly become an important force for promoting social progress and sustainable development. Shanghai Daily launched this year's CSR Case Selection in December 2024. It aimed to identify and recognize companies that have achieved remarkable performance in CSR, explore new trends and draw a new blueprint for CSR development.
Le'An Insurance Services (Shanghai Yan Chu Enterprise Services Co., Ltd.) stood out in this selection, winning both the "Public Welfare Impact Award" and the "Social Responsibility Innovation Award", with other enterprises such as 3M, Citibank, Johnson & Johnson, and Roche Pharmaceuticals.
In the field of public welfare education, Le'An's philanthropic sub-brand THE EDISON SCHOOL has made remarkable achievements. In 2024, THE EDISON SCHOOL collaborated with Project Volunteer Online to establish a remote classroom at Ma Jia Quan Primary School in Guazhou County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, providing more than a hundred students with music, picture book, and art courses, as well as material aid and Dunhuang cultural courses. Meanwhile, Le'An also extended support to rural schools in places like Ya'an in Sichuan Province, and Pingliang in Gansu Province, effectively changing the imbalanced educational resources and opening up new horizons of knowledge for children.
